Brenda Jo Wall of Greenville, South Carolina, beloved wife of James “Jim” W. Wall for 60 years, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, surrounded by her family. She had been with her beloved husband since 9th grade, and they shared a marriage filled with love, faith, and lifelong partnership. She was born on April 17, 1944, and was a Greer native, the daughter of the late Joe Oscar Jones and Lula B. Jones of Greer. A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished Nana, Brenda lived a life marked by deep faith and unwavering love. She loved the Lord and was guided by His Word in all she did. Her faith shone through her patience, kindness, and servant’s heart, and she was a constant source of strength, comfort, and encouragement to everyone blessed to know her. Of all the roles she treasured in life, her favorite was simply being “Nana.” She never missed an opportunity to be her grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader and faithful prayer warrior. She always made sure they knew how proud she was of them and how deeply she loved them. Brenda found joy in attending her children’s and grandchildren’s football, soccer games, wrestling matches, swim meets, dance, and piano recitals. She loved spending time with family and took great pride in supporting each child and grandchild in everything they pursued. Brenda’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her three children, Rhonda Wall Shoolbred (Rick)of Anderson, Shane Wall (Jill), of Lexington, and Travis Wall (Brandy) of Taylors. Her heart was the fullest when she was with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, Isabella Wall. She was the proud Nana of eight grandsons, Alex Sanders, Collin Sanders, Addison Sanders, Reed Shoolbred, Logan Wall, Caelen Wall, Hayden Wall, and Hunter Wall. Each one brought her immense joy, and she delighted in celebrating their accomplishments and milestones. She is also survived by her two brothers, Daniel Jones (Barbara) of Greer and David Jones (Dawn) of Florida, as well as extended family and dear friends. She was especially fond of her beloved and loyal boxer, Gracie, who brought her much comfort. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. Drew Hines and Rev. Bob Allen. A private burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bon Secours Hospice by Compassus, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29681.
