Terry Allen Mitchell

Terry Allen Mitchell, husband of the late Vivian Howard Mitchell, passed away January 29, 2022. A native of Paris, Kentucky, son of the late Paul V. and Ruby Reed Mitchell, he was a US Marine Vietnam Veteran, and the recipient of three Purple Hearts, a retired employee of Mitsubishi Polyester Film, a member of Resurrection Church, and was a Mason. Surviving are one daughter, Valarie Mitchell of Greer; one son, Terry “Scotty” Mitchell, Jr. of Wilmington, North Carolina; and two brothers, Ronnie Mitchell and Sammy Mitchell both of Wellford. He was also predeceased by one brother, Paul “Butch” Hiesel. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Pastor Bradley Cox. Memorials may be made at the Richard M.
