Sandy Barabas

Sandra “Sandy” DiLucchio Barabas, 78, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late John Anthony and Jean Ader DiLucchio; she was a homemaker, and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are her husband, Leonard “Joel” Barabas of the home; three sons, David Barabas of Greer, Daniel Barabas (Beth Tenorio) of Salem, New Hampshire and Darrell Barabas (Diana Glick) also of Greer; three daughters, Deborah Dorfman (Chuck) of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Deidre Bridgeman of Piedmont and Deanna Petan (Josh) of Greer; two sisters, Ellen McLaughlin (Gary) of Piedmont and Cheryl Sym of Miami, Florida; eight grandchildren, Clinton Barabas, Maggie Barabas, Noah Bridgeman, Lance Bigby, Avery Milton, Ashton Milton, Cheyanna Bridgeman and Gracie Bridgeman and one great-granddaughter, Layla Bigby. She was also predeceased by a grandson, Austin Milton. A memorial service will held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary.
