Randall "Randy" Reece

October 2, 1953 - January 12, 2022

Randall “Randy” Dean Reece, 68, passed away January 12, 2022. A native of Greenville County, son of the late Norman E. and Lois Bagwell Reece, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired Greenville County deputy, and a member of Heritage Bible Church. Randy was a member and past president of the South Carolina Treasure and Artifact Association. Metal detecting with his friends was his favorite pastime. Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Hamby Reece of the home; a daughter, Sarah Ann Oesterling (Craig) of Greenville; a son, Michael Andrew Reece (Alana) of Lyman; and five grandchildren, Nolan, Oliver and, Adalyne Reece, Carter and Harrison Oesterling. Randy was predeceased by a brother, Ronald E. Reece. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Heritage Bible Church. A private burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:15 p.m. Tuesday at the church. The family is at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to Heritage Bible Church Mission Fund, 2005 Old Spartanburg Road, Greer, SC 29650. Online condolences may be made at www.thewoodmortuary.com.
