Margie Anna Wofford Brannon, 97, of Carlyle Senior Care, Fountain Inn, SC, passed away January 29, 2022. She was the widow of John Dubose Brannon, Sr. Mrs. Brannon was the daughter of the late John Irby and Josie (Prince) Wofford. She was a member of Westgate Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Joanna Jones and her husband, Keith of Greer; one son, John Brannon, Jr. and his wife, Kathy of Woodruff; one granddaughter; six grandsons; fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brannon was predeceased by one brother, John Prince Wofford. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 5, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Tony Seiber and Rev. James Wooten. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 5:30-7:30 PM Friday, February 4, 2022, and 9:30-10:45AM Saturday, February 5, 2022. Webcasting of the funeral service will be available at www.thewoodmortaury.com. Pallbearers will be Neil Jones, Eric Jones, Clay Jones, Ricky Lawson, Chase Brannon, and Richard Cartee.
