Leeann M. Gould

May 28, 1961 - January 23, 2022

After a six-year struggle with vascular dementia, wife and mother Leeann Marguerite Gould on Sunday, January 23, 2022, quietly and peacefully went home to be with the Lord. A native of Greenville, daughter of William DeNeal Goforth and stepmother, Arlene Goforth of Ft. Inn and the late Eula Bell Hyder Miller, she was a homemaker and a member of Pebble Creek Baptist Church. Leeann had beautiful eyes, a sweet low voice, and a gentle though feisty spirit. She could laugh at herself, and with other people. Leeann loved her church, cherished her family (especially sons Justin and Alex), and appreciated many friends. She served in the Brookwood Celebrate Recovery Ministry and worked on her father’s rabbit farm when she lived there in Ft. Inn. Leeann will be missed by all who knew her, especially her Prisma Health SeniorCare PACE family members. Also surviving are her husband, Kermit “Kerry” Taylor Gould, Jr. of the home; two sons, Justin Goforth of Greenville, and Alex Boyles of Simpsonville; a brother, Billy Goforth (Cindy) of Orlando, Florida; two sisters, Diane Earley (Steve) of Charlotte, NC and Becky Reynolds (Jeffrey) of Aiken and stepsister, Kim Brailsford of Taylors. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022, at Pebble Creek Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Frank Page. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 1:00-1:45 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605, Prisma Health SeniorCare PACE, 32 Centennial Way, Greenville, SC 29605, or the charity of one’s choice. Online condolences may be made at www.thewoodmortuary.com
