James C. Sharpe, Sr.

James Carlton Sharpe, Sr., 87, husband of the late Doris Byrd Sharpe, passed away January 29, 2022. A native of Burlington, North Carolina, son of the late Howard L. and Sally Lloyd Sharpe, he was the founding partner and Vice President of Windsor Aughtry, Inc., and a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, James Carlton Sharpe, Jr. (Lynne) of Greer; two daughters, Lisa Sharpe Nied (John) of Decatur, Georgia and Lori S. White of Taylors; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Sharpe was predeceased by a sister, Peggy Sharpe Simmons. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Covenant United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Darren Hook. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 11:00-11:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church. The family is at their respective homes.
