Howard Allen Briney

Howard Allen Briney, 82, was called home on March 3, 2021. Born of the late Arthur Leonard and Anita Rumsey Briney, and originally from Havre de Grace, Maryland. After graduating from Bob Jones University, Howard moved to Pennsylvania, where he spent his career as a professional truck driver until his retirement, when he moved back to South Carolina. He also attended the Living Water Fellowship Church. In retirement, you could find Howard tending to his yard - mowing was a favorite pastime. He will be remembered for his gentle soul, and generosity towards others. He will be greatly missed here on Earth, but we know he is rejoicing with the Lord in Heaven. Howard is survived by his daughter, Kristin Briney of Greer and his sister, Shirley Briney Howell, also of Greer. Graveside services will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (14050 E. Wade Hampton Blvd, Greer), and will be conducted by family friend, Reverend Bill Buelow.
