Gene Dacus

January 9, 1937 - February 3, 2022

Henry Eugene “Gene” Dacus, 85, husband of the late Judy Bridwell Dacus, resident of Bayberry Retirement Inn of Greer, passed away February 3, 2022. A native of Greer, South Carolina, son of the late William Doyle and Gladys Holland Dacus, he was a retired employee of Wabco, a South Carolina, National Guard veteran, and was a member of Victor Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Keith Dacus (Julie) of Simpsonville and Scott Dacus (Donna) of Greer; one daughter, Gena Bremer (Bill) of Burlington, Kentucky; one brother, Neal Dacus of Grand Prairie, Texas; seven grandchildren, Kayla Schiraldi, Vince Dacus, Mackenzie Hall, Allee Dacus, Madeline Dacus, Nathan Bremer, and Matthew Bremer; and one great-grandchild, Brooks Hall. He was also predeceased by seven brothers and two sisters. A memorial service will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Victor Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Tom Capps. Visitation will be held from 10:45 until 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. The family is at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to Victor Baptist Church, P.O.
