Doris Belue Boyter

Doris Belue Boyter, 90, widow of Marvin Boyter, passed away January 17, 2022. A native of Greer, daughter of the late Walter Handel and Leona Wilson Belue, she was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two daughters, Denise Boyter Beam (Tony) of Greer and Debra Boyter Massengale (Dale) of Irvington, Kentucky; one sister, Margaret Lunny of Greer; grandchildren, Adam Beam (Ashley), Jamie Calloway (Jeremiah), Jaclyn McQueen (Tim), Amber Moore (Bobby), Travis Massengale (Emily), Jessica Townsend (Tyler), and Allison Hallman (Josh); and twenty great-grandchildren and one on the way. Mrs. Boyter was predeceased by two brothers, Maurice “Bus” Belue and Douglas Belue, and two sisters, Virginia “Ginny” Taylor and Helen Flynn. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. Tony Beam and Pastor Dale Massengale with webcasting available at www.thewoodmortuary.com Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
