Donnie L. Hammett, Sr., 57, passed away December 29, 2020. A native of Greer, loving husband of Judy Hammett, son of Patricia Medford Hammett and the late Cecil Clyde Hammett, he was a retired machinist from ABB, a graduate of Greer High School class of 1981, and a member of Mt. Lebanon Church. Mr. Hammett was a member of The Bailey Masonic Lodge #146 where he was the Past Master. Surviving are his wife Judy Howard Hammett of Greer; two sons; D.J. Hammett (Katy), Darren Hammett (Deirdre) all of Greer; mother, Patricia Hammett; one brother, Ronnie Hammett of Greer; four grandchildren, Lexi Wilson, Liam Hammett, Riley Hammett and Landon Hammett. Services will be held 2 pm Monday, January 4, 2021 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mark Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with masonic rites. Pallbearers will be Jack Smith, Scott Thorne, Jacob Elliott, Michael Clardy, Preston Sloan and Cody Hammett. Visitation will be held 12:30- 1:45 Monday, January 4, 2021 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
