Donald "Don" R. Krause

March 25, 1939 - May 3, 2022

Donald “Don” Ray Krause, 83, passed away May 3, 2022. A native of Greenville County, a son of the late William S. and Lola Godfrey Krause; he was a retired machinist with Detroit Broach, Greenville County school bus driver and member of the Taylors First Baptist Church. Don loved God, his family and the Clemson Tigers. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Barbara Robertson Krause of the home; two daughters, Selena T. Rogers (John) of Charlotte, North Carolina and Deborah A. Towery (Mike) of Six Mile; one brother, Maxie Krause of Greer, three grandchildren, Lauren M. Harrelson (Jeremy), Amanda M. Pierce-Neal (Billy), Erica Noyes (Jack); four great-grandchildren, Bentley S. Pierce-Neal, Austyn C. Pierce-Neal (Aaliyah), Ashlyn Charett Noyes and Anastasia Elise Noyes and one great great-grandchild, Austyn “AJ” Marcus Pierce-Neal. He was also predeceased by a sister, Margaret Wood and a brother, James Krause. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2022, at Taylors First Baptist Church Chapel conducted by Dr. Jimmie Harley and Pastor Jerry Long. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. To help celebrate his life, the family invites those who would like, to wear orange. A visitation will be held 1:00-1:45PM Friday, May 13, 2022, at the church.
