Darrell Wall

October 10, 1947 - March 9, 2022

William Darrell Wall of Greer, SC, entered his Heavenly home on March 9th, 2022. Darrell was the son of the late Reverend Alvin Dudley and Rubye Moore Wall of Greer. Darrell had a personality that was bigger than life and he loved and was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling the USA with his wife, fishing, and sleeping. Darrell graduated from Anderson High School and attended Anderson and Carson Newman Universities. He owned and operated D & D Trailer Sales and was a lifelong Gamecock. He was a member of Praise Cathedral Church of God and loved his church. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Jones Wall, two sons, Travis Wall (Amy) of Pelzer; Kevin Wall of Georgetown; one daughter, Lindsey Whitaker (Blake) of Simpsonville; two stepdaughters, Candy Boozer (Jason) of Simpsonville; Stacy Campbell (Chad) of Greer; one brother, Dudley Wall of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Karen Ponder (Wade) of Raleigh; four grandchildren, Austin Russell, Asheton Wall (Michael), Brandon Wall, Christian Wall; four step-grandchildren, Bailey Campbell, Tanner Campbell, Landon Campbell, Piper Campbell; one great-grandchild, Damon Allen; uncle and aunt, Richard and Gwen Wall; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Praise Cathedral Church of God, 3390 Brushy Creek Road in Greer conducted by Pastor Jerry Madden and Pastor Tommy Harvey. Visitation will be held at the church immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to Praise Cathedral Missions or to Praise Cathedral Family Life Center, P.O. Box 287, Greer, SC 29652.
