Cornelia Lark Steadman, 82, widow of Earl Steadman, passed away January 1, 2022, at her home. A native of Lyman, South Carolina, daughter of the late Ed and Mozell Cantrell Lark, she was a homemaker and member of Faith Temple. Surviving are one daughter, Rita Steadman of Lyman; one son, Mark Steadman (Angie) of Lyman; three brothers, E.C. Lark of Inman, Edward Lark (Sandra) of Greenville and Danny Lark (Lisa) of Greer; three sisters, Geraldine Duncan of Blue Ridge, Mary Long and Naomi Morgan both of Greer; four grandchildren, Tonya Hill, Danielle Beasley, Greg Steadman and Courteney Thompson and two great-grandchildren, Nathanial Beasley and Aiden Thompson. She was also predeceased by two sons, Ronnie Steadman and Donnie Steadman; one brother, Elford Lark; and one sister, Ruth Dolan. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Mr. William Hill, Pastor Terry King and Pastor Scott Pritchett. Burial will follow in Faith Temple Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home of Rita Steadman.
