Charles H. "Chuck" Stevens Jr.

Charles Hilton Stevens, Jr., 71 passed away September 15, 2021. Born in Spartanburg County on February 22, 1950, son of the late Charles Hilton Stevens, Sr., and Gwenon Loraine Simmons Stevens, he was a retired from Mitsubishi Polyester Film after 36 ½ years, a member of Lee Road Baptist Church where he was a past president of the Joy Club, a member of Carolina Railroad Heritage Association and Taylors Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Elaine Cooper Stevens of the home; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Susan Cooper; two nieces, Blair Alexander and Brooke Bailey and two great nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday, September 18, 2021, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Jason Kittrell. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45am Saturday, September 18, 2021, at The Wood Mortuary. The family will be at the home.
