Callie Howard Stahl

January 14, 1923 - March 14, 2022

Callie Howard Stahl, 99, widow of Leonard William Stahl, Sr., passed away peacefully (March/14/2022) at (Brasstown Manor, Hiawassee, GA). A native of Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late William Greene and Cora Pittman Howard, Mrs. Stahl was a devoted wife and loving mother, longtime member of Praise Cathedral, retired employee of the Greenville County School System and member of SSI Health Center in Greer. Surviving are two daughters, Alyce Carson (Ralph Sr.) of Walsenburg, CO; Pamela Dogris (Steve) of Gig Harbor, WA and three sons, Wayne Stahl (Lora) of Maricopa County, AZ; David Stahl (Diane) of Greenville, SC; Garry Stahl (Gary Bannon) of Dana Point, CA; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Stahl was predeceased by one son, Leonard William Stahl, Jr. (Nancy), of Hiawassee, GA and six brothers; Greene, Fred, Carroll, Bill, Jake, Gurley Howard, and two sisters; Mabel Dill and Evie Yeargin. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Praise Cathedral conducted by Rev. Jerry Madden and Rev. Bob McCuen. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 12:30 - 1:45 p.m. at Praise Cathedral before the funeral service. Pallbearers will be Gregg Stahl, Patrick Stahl, Garry Stahl, Steve Howard, Ken Howard, and Russ Howard.
