Bobby Dean Wilson

November 27, 1940 - February 16, 2022

Bobby Dean Wilson, 81, passed away February 16, 2022, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Newport, TN, son of the late Thomas James “T.J.” and Mary Bell Brown Wilson, he was retired from Spring Industries after 38 years and attended Mountain View Church of God of Prophecy. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Linda Solesbee Wilson of the home; two daughters, Adeana Smith (David) of Spartanburg; Kathy Gaston (Eddie) of Greer; one brother, Roy Wilson of Enoree; one sister, Lila Mae Jackson of Inman; two grandchildren, Amanda Mooney (Rodney) and D.J. Smith; and four great-grandchildren, Jalen Mooney, Kalie Horton, Aliya Mooney, and Mason Smith. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 21, 2022, at Mountain View Church of God of Prophecy conducted by Rev. Kenneth Cash and Rev. Jimmy McClain. Burial will follow in Mountain View Church of God of Prophecy. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 PM Monday, February 21, 2022, at Mountain View Church of God of Prophecy. Pallbearers will be Alex Duncan, Jalen Mooney, Kenneth Crenshaw, Timmy Frady, Rodney Mooney, Billy Hawkins, and D.J. Smith. The family will be at the home.
