Billy A. Jenkins Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Billy Alvin Jenkins, 79, husband of the late Sandy Erskine Jenkins, passed away July 5, 2022. A native of Greenville County, he was the son of the late John W Jenkins and Ethel Rogers Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was the owner of Erskine Dental Laboratory for over 30 years and a member of Crossroads Cowboy Church. Billy was an avid horseman and long-time member of the National Barrel Horse Association. He spent most of his weekends at a local barrel race watching his friends and family compete. No one that met Bill forgot his infectious passion for horses and the sport of barrel racing. He was everyone’s friend, mentor, teacher, and number one fan. Surviving is one son, David Jenkins (Amy) of Greer; two sisters, Shirley Comer (Claude) of Greenville, Carol Williamson (Bill) of Gray Court; grandson Zachary Billings-Jenkins and granddaughter, Neely Bryant; and faithful companion, Bailey. Mr. Jenkins was predeceased by one brother, Johnny Jenkins; and two sisters, Lou Belue, and Joanne Gosnell. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Mountain View United Methodist Church conducted by Phillip Wilds. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, July 8, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary. Casual attire (Boots and Jeans) is requested as Bill love to wear them.
