Billy W. Guess Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Billy Wayne Guess, 68, passed away July 10, 2022. A native of Blue Island, IL, son of the late Jack Guess, Jr., and Ellen Elizabeth Millican Guess, he was a retired Senior Chief who proudly served in the United States Navy, and an engineer at Fluor, and a Christian. Surviving are two son, Jared Guess and Joshua Guess and his wife Trisha Guess and their 6 children, Jaden Guess, Madeline Guess, Charlotte Guess, Aurora Guess, Everly Guess, Hendrix Guess; two step-sons, Edward Hawkins, Christian Hawkins and his wife Korinne Wilson and their three daughters, Christina Hawkins, Violet Hawkins, Rose Mary Sue Hawkins; and five sisters, Donna Willenberg of Palmer, TX, Shirley Chavez of Hampshire, IL, Regina Sanchez of Palmer, TX, Carolyn Gerdes of Houston, TX, and Pamela Fagan of Copperas Cove, TX. Mr. Guess was predeceased by one sister, Peggy Arnold. Billy Guess enjoyed working on cars and driving them fast. Billy was twice married. Billy is a beloved uncle to many fine nieces and nephews who will always love and miss him. Billy was a fighter all the way to his last day, a true Diehard as he was true and faithful in life, he remained true till death. He will be remembered by all. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
