James Virgil Beck, 63, of 493 Snow Mill Dr., died January 17, 2010, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Nashville, TN, he was a son of Louise Vaughn Beck of Woodruff and the late Claude V. Beck, he was of the Holiness Faith and a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retired employee of Atlantic Wire.
Surviving also are two daughters, Denise Beck Frier of Gainesville, Ga. and Robin Smith of Liberty; a step daughter, Tonya Robinson of Spartanburg; 3 brothers, Dennis Beck of Reidville, Glenn Beck of Greer and Jeff Beck of Taylors and 7 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, James Timothy Beck and a sister, Mary Beck Waldrop.
Graveside services will be 11 am Tuesday in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Bryon Morrell.
The family is at the home. The visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm Monday at The Wood Mortuary.
