Hovie Sheldon Bolding, 90, of 202 Newman Drive, died December 18, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
A native of Pickens County, son of the late Julius and Emma Orr Bolding, he was a retired employee of D & D Motors, a US Army veteran and a member of Lyman United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie McCarter Bolding of the home; a daughter, Nona Blanchard of the home; a son, David Bolding and wife, Nancy of Lyman and two grandsons, Michael Bolding and wife, Lisa and Daniel Bolding and wife, Kristina.
Mr. Bolding was predeceased by seven brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Jay Hatchell.
The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside and at the home.
