Frances Acton Blackwell, 97, formerly of 107 Short Street, widow of William Walter Blackwell, died November 15, 2009 at Valley Falls Terrace.
A native of Tennessee, daughter of the late William and Rachel Owens Acton, she was a retired employee of Jackson Mills and a member of Jackson Baptist Church.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Jim McMakin.
The families are at their respective homes.
