Louie Allen Arms, 86, widower of Edith Forrester Seay Arms, of 2010 Goodjoin Road,
died Saturday, September, 19, 2009 at his home.
A native of Greer, he was the son of the late Roy Lee and Ethel Pittman Arms, a retired manager of A&P Grocery Store, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are a stepson and daughter-in-law, Rev. Joe and Dawn Seay of Campobello; two brothers and their spouses, Arnold and Mae Arms of Travelers Rest and Paul and Gayle Arms of St. Augustine, FL; three sisters and their spouses, Ruby Scoggin, Wilma and Lewis Chandler, and Shirlene and Kenneth Payne all of Greer and five step grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Carroll Arms.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Terry Greene and Rev. Larry Cox. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 7:00 until 8:30p.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at their respective homes.
