Francis Duwayne (Wayne) Brayton, 61, of 4926 John Suddeth Road, died September 2, 2009 at Greer Memorial Hospital.
A native of Greenville County, son of the late Francis Donald Brayton and Betty Sawyer Hannah, he was a member of Peoples Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Jackie Crisp Brayton of the home; two sisters, Kay Mawyer of Hendersonville, N.C. and Debra Simmons of Greenville, S.C. and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Steven Crisp.
Visitation will be held 3:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
