On July 29, 2009 Clara (Boots) Bowers Barnett went home to be with her Lord and Savior after an extended battle with cancer.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was a homemaker and a member of Lee Road Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Robert A. (Smokey) Barnett of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Mark Topolnitski of Tega Cay, S.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Robby and Terri Barnett of Greer; and four grandchildren, Naté, Hayes, Dallas, and Micah.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Ralph Hefner. A private committal service will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family is at the home.
