Mildred Pauline Slatton Beason, 77, of 101 Kings Street, widow of William Monroe Beason, died March 16, 2009 at Greer Memorial Hospital.
A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Jerry Arthur and Rose Ella Cox Slatton, she was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are three brothers, Jake Slatton of Inman, Robert Slatton of Greer, and Taylor Green of Fork Shoals; and three sisters, Alice Norris, Mamie Oliver, and Pearline Southern all of Greer.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. David Slatton. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of Catherine Oliver Lee, 206 Oakland Ave., Greer.
