Paul Dillard Earle, 85, of 118 Benjamin Avenue, died January 25, 2009 at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.
A native of Anderson County, son of the late Fredrick and Ada Mae Doughty Earle, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, a retired employee of Celanese of America, and a member of Praise Cathedral.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Margaret Bentley Earle of the home and a son, Tony L. Earle of Little River, S.C.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Jerry Madden and Pastor Bobby Johnson. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
